Ikegami Honmonji O-Eshiki

For 3 days (Oct. 11-13) Ikegami Honmonji welcomes over 300,000 worshipers paying respect to the founder of Nichiren Sect of Buddhism, Nichiren Shoen (High Priest Nichiren) who passed away here approximately 700 years ago.


The festivities are truly impressive and grand at night, worth a visit if you are looking for something to to do in Tokyo during these dates.
